Digital Sovereignty for Germany and Europe?!

Regarding IT technology Europe is currently only a follower of US and Chinese dominance. But we talk about by »digital sovereignty«. What is this talk about? What actions are taken? The current academic and public work is a wishful thinking how to get out of this sandwich position. But how can we solve an problem if we do not baseline, define and specify? This talk will share some insights about current status and the future work needed to achieve »digital sovereignty«.
WHY THE COMMITTEE CHOSE THIS TALK
Regarding IT Europe and especially Germany is in an unfortunate position. We need IT and are totally dependent on other countries. In the future IT-Security will also mean managing the trust and the availability in the IT supply chain of your company. Philipp will deliver insights how to tackle this challenge.
