DESCRIPTION

Most companies hit by ransomware, communicate that they were “targeted by professional hackers” and that “the highly professional attack was unavoidable”. While this may make sense from a legal perspective we will have a look on how professional the Ransomware operators really are. Based on more than 60 ransomware crisis cases, this talk will shed some light on the actual professionalism of the different groups. On the other hand this talk will also showcase some of the funniest face-palm moments we had during our cases.
