- Engine not to exceed 575 CID.
- Kill switches must be operational.
- Safety loops are required around all yokes and universal joints. Min 5/16" thick for steel, 3/8" thick for alum. and 6" wide. Min. of 1 loop around driveshaft, min. of 1" wide. Two piece driveshafts need one loop per section.
- Hitch must be a min. of 36" from center of rear axle to hook point. Max. of 30" high and stationary in all directions. Pin point not to exceed 10 deg. total elevation in height from hook point.
- Steel bell housing SFI 6.1 or greater required for manual trans. No modifications are to be made to the bell housing. Bell housing must be completely enclosed and have a block plate. All automatic transmissions must have SFI approved blanket or shields in place including dust shields.
- Any part of the vehicle not to exceed 15ft. from the center of the rear hub.
- Nitrous oxide will not be permitted.
- Must have a cover over bed if any part of the bed has been removed.
- Alum. or steel deflection shields must be mounted on each side of the engine. They must run the complete length of the engine block and be a min of .060 thick.
- Fire suits must be worn and they must meet or exceed 3.2 A-1 performance specs.
- After market or prefab gear boxes or planetary rear ends are allowed in this class.
- Must have rear bumper or bumper pads.
- Must have and wear seat belt.
- Must have a front tow hook.
